Just bought a 1tb Seagate Desk external hard drive and in an effort to try and hide it, I'm modifying a shoe box to house it nicely. If anyone else has some sort of special set up for their external drive(s), post a picture of it here!

if they are not tracking people then why have the feature? maybe the information is for someone else??... who knows but one thing is for sure its an invasion of privacy..... even if I do stay home all day and night.
Not only that but if it only tracked you for a time and then deleted it self automatically then I could see it but my understanding this is not just one day or week so in theory they can track you for a long time.
For those who do not care fine I don't care what they think, this should be something that can be turned off without loosing other functionality.

iPhone 4 for both me and the girlfriend. We decided to consolidate our phone bills, and FaceTime was a primary deciding factor for her. Decided to keep it light on the gifts this year with the addition of a new car, apartment/furniture, and a puppy.

ok having downloaded the 10.5.8 update and reloaded brand new copies of Chud and Nap i'm still getting the same message:

We get a full year of support on hardware and software, and have Applecare for beyond year 1. So limited OS support is FUD.
I don't think it is FUD. For example, Microsoft's last support for WinXP Pro ends in April of 2014 � that is over 12 years of support from the vendor.

As of Monday morning: Menlo Park Mall Apple store = zero. Bridgewater Commons Apple store = zero. Best Buy in East Brunswick = got a new shipment of 32 Gb wi-fi blacks. Plenty left as of 11 AM.

Meanwhile, Pegatron originally expected to ship 10 million CDMA iPhone 4s in but sources from upstream component makers pointed out that Apple's orders already saw a significant reduction and the volume is estimated to drop to only five million units.CDMA refers to the radio technology used by Verizon for their mobile phones. why even bother coming out with a white iphone for this year? Does anyone really care anymore?

Welp... Got Notes 7.02 today.
Visually, it looks "fatter". The fonts are more substantial. Almost bold in look. It also looks more "modern" if you will.. or more "mac-like".
The installer actually uses the default OS X installer. That's nice.
The whole BS "Lotus Notes" directory with all it's turds is replaced by a nice Notes.app applicaiton bundle. That's nice.
They added Safari as an option for URL handlers. That's nice.
It upgraded 6.5.x just fine, though I had moved my data directory to my home directory a while back, not sure (yet) how the upgrade will go if one's data directory still exists in the app's hierarchy.
It IS a Universal Binary! WooHoo!! That's REALLY nice!
It's still a carbon app. That's NOT nice. You'll notice the old MacOS watch icon. A sure sign of a carbonized app.
It still uses BinHex 4.0 as the default Mac attachment encoder. That's NOT nice.
I don't know how it handles emails with embeded java or HTML (I'm sure other users have experienced Notes crashes when reading some emails with HTML in them). Wait and see on that one.

Congrats to the new mods. They're all people I like, so I say it's good news. Perhaps long overdue.
