What will these device classes (and their successor innovations) be capable of in 3 years? 5? 10? 30?
The same thing we're doing on Mac desktops/laptops...right now. I'm no naysayer, the iDevices are what they are. I think the iPad/iPhone/iToy whatever name everyone attaches to them are innovative consumer devices. I think some of the backlash you are seeing is because the professional "Truck Drivin' " Apple users are wanting a bit more focus and attention on the devices that actually create the vast majority of content the iDevices were created to enjoy.
Let's face it...at the moment you're not going to be using an iThing to create the latest amazing 3D CG animation or mind blowing game and by the time those devices can do that...well, we'll be able to shout about it to each other's holograms at that point.
As someone said earlier, these devices are a great supplement to a more powerful Mac.

just took a look, and these guys have an interesting story about Apple ceasing to use Rendezvous as a brand. I didn't see that on MacRumors, so I might check out Cafe Macs every now and then. Every other site I've seen has had redundant news, but this caught me by surprise.

AOL just announced something that allows you to back up 5GB of data. .Mac gives you 1 GB. AOL is free, .Mac costs $99. I understand there are other features, but AOL has most of them too. It's not worth the $$ until some major improvements happen.

Weren't they made aware of this almost a year ago? That's a long time to address an oversight.
A book was written in 2010 called iOS Forensic Analysis which talked about it. You can read the pages about the consolidated.db here (http://books.google.com/books?id=kPrzs04YFcwC&pg=PR14&dq=ios+forensics&hl=en&ei=blu4TYvBJdSUtwf1iNHeBA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CEQQ6AEwAg#v=onepage&q=consolidated.db&f=false). That's what Levinson (http://alexlevinson.wordpress.com/2011/04/21/3-major-issues-with-the-latest-iphone-tracking-discovery/)is calling the new 'researchers' out about.
So the question is, did anyone in a position of power at Apple read that book? And if so, did it hit them that it might become an issue? Obviously it never hit the developer who did it :)

The db is what's being talked about, because it's the cache.

Dot Mac's web mail looks like it was pulled straight out of Mac OS 10.2 "Jaguar" I'm very happy that it's being updated since the interface of the web mail looks very dated. Also the new features look like a good perk :D :)

Regarding Rollover Minutes: If you reduce your minutes to a 700 minute plan, they will reduce your RO minutes from whatever you had to 700 minutes. If you call c/s (and ask nicely), they can let you keep up to 5000 RO minutes.

I have recently run into this weird system font. I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean by the weird error font. I don't remember me doing anything related to the font or the system system but just happened the next day. I have tried to seek for solution online but not successful, perhaps cause i can't explain it in detail.
Please can anyone help and let me know if there is any way that I can reverse it back to default original. Thank you very much.
